LET’S TALK.. COMPETITION!

Being the best You to win!

Competition is the other people, who want to be better than you at what you do. Maybe they are – so let’s keep it real and focus on improving our position in our chosen field or market! The road to being ahead of the rest means giving more than expected continuously. Or to say it differently – doing it so well no one wants to look around!
What makes you different? What makes your company, its products & services different? These are questions we should be able to understand and have a response for. The ability to stand out in a crowd can help attract attention to you  – both positive and negative reactions.
Let’s be real; if the competition has positioned their product on price maybe they will attract an initial big audience. If quality, service, accessibility and reputation can back them up, you have to find an area of uniqueness to gain your own market share. It’s a lot easier when the competition is not great at anything – but do you really want to be pegged against the worst? It’s about giving an experience which is so good, repeat business can be continuous from loyal customers!
Tip
Be bold, be different, be the reason you are sought by customers and everyone. Blending in can make you anonymous. Keep it real and show why your customer service is superior! Let the competition stand in your shadow!

Let's Talk... A Love That Lasts

The courage to carry “To have a love that lasts forever, is to truly understand vows and commitment” (Eversley,2016) In all of my forty six years of life  I have waited for the commitment of true love. To really believe that there are people in this world who can cherish and care for another romantically has become a faded dream. A dream which has been archived into the fantasy part of my mental library. The love stories of long marriages  which are not abusive or filled with indiscretions seem ancient. The new lifestyle sets a pathway to divorces which have become their own academy awards on film. Acceptance of prenuptial agreements and exit clauses are now necessary when thinking of love – whether in a celebrity career or leading a nondescript livelihood. To this end I did weep when I read  from a friend and learned of his devotion, marriage and love for his wife. Let’s be real, and understand this is a true ongoing story of endurance, commitment, passion fo...

Swirling Thoughts

Photo Credits: unsplash.com/Marek Okon You got me stumped, Now I must think. How can I even contemplate, the idea of swirling? Its either an ice-cream being swirled in a mix, Or maybe it’s some plasticine, Made from rows of colored sticks? I’m not sure if I got this one, And I’m not sure if I can see, If anything around can swirl into my brain, Just to make sense of this word ‘swirl’ for me.   At first I thought maybe its dancing, With my skirt swirling around my knees, But suddenly realized I’d fall flat on my face If some swirling really took place! Considering next a few splashes of paint Thrown on a paper to create a design, Suddenly that swirl made a lot of sense Understanding right before my eyes. So okay Eugenia, think I’ve got a writing plan And a way to take swirl ‘mainstream’. Kindly make it a little easier, for me to think again Cause this one, is hodgepodge on my screen!   26/03/2021 Thank You for stopping ...

A Meadow Of Grace

The grassy bed up on the hill. Was a place to escape For my daily thrill. To go outside away from it all Was my secret place With everyone around. The space alone was under a tree, With only the lizards to bother me. You can see the grotto, Where the priests would pray. It was a sanctuary, A place I wanted to stay. You can call it a meadow, because of the ground It’s what comes to mind if meadows are to be found. Yet still if I consider My Scottish retreat many years ago, I walked through some meadows, And never wanted to go home. The air was very different, from my tropical breeze, The birds and the sky seemed to envelope me. Every moment I was able to run wild and free, Was a moment I rejoiced for the blessing from Thee. Blessed beyond measure, to discover another secret place, Made for me by Jesus,  a meadow of grace.   8/06/2021 Inspired by a prompt from Eugi’s Causerie . Thank you for stopping by. Please shar...
