Swirling Thoughts

Photo Credits: unsplash.com/Marek Okon You got me stumped, Now I must think. How can I even contemplate, the idea of swirling? Its either an ice-cream being swirled in a mix, Or maybe it’s some plasticine, Made from rows of colored sticks? I’m not sure if I got this one, And I’m not sure if I can see, If anything around can swirl into my brain, Just to make sense of this word ‘swirl’ for me.   At first I thought maybe its dancing, With my skirt swirling around my knees, But suddenly realized I’d fall flat on my face If some swirling really took place! Considering next a few splashes of paint Thrown on a paper to create a design, Suddenly that swirl made a lot of sense Understanding right before my eyes. So okay Eugenia, think I’ve got a writing plan And a way to take swirl ‘mainstream’. Kindly make it a little easier, for me to think again Cause this one, is hodgepodge on my screen!   26/03/2021 Thank You for stopping ...

Twilight Zone - Life Tip 1

What to do when you don't know what to do. If you ever feel boxed into a corner to do something which you know is wrong, and your core is twisted on what to do - do what you know is the right thing - then stand aside and let God take over. The twilight of day comes after we live through a day, and reflect on outcomes. You can grimace or smile in that moment! Growing up I looked to my elders to teach me about life through their lessons, as an elder (hahaha) it has come full circle, now the student has become the teacher. T...

Music to my Mood - It speaks for itself!

I Look to you. I sure look to my savior Jesus Christ when I feel the overwhelming hatred of the politics of the world and its negative impact on the people of the world. I sure feel for refugees / immigrants and displaced people, the homeless and those fighting to keep their families together and alive. When You Believe. Yes, I sure believe that we can be better people if we pause our busy lives and look closely at those we can bless with a miracle. Maybe it may seem hard if you think miracles can only come from God, but he has blessed your life with a heart which can be opened up if we allow it. Maybe Heaven sent an Angel called you - I need an angel When you figure out what you can do, keep it quiet. There is no need for the right hand to know what the left is doing. Just do it, without desiring accolades and enrichment. The joy of helping others and being an angel of love, hope, kindness, compassion and mercy. What could be greater, than being a b...
