To Manchester and the world ...with love

Unity not fear! " To allow extremists to take over our feelings and lives is to give them power. The behavior of the USA President does that. Extremists and people like that want to rule through terror. As a world people we are sad, devestated and inconsolably sorry for those who lost love ones. To be judged by someone who is afraid of terrorists, is not good, however to give their fear power is foolhardy." (quote from Dwordslayer 4/6/2017) I cried as I read and watched Ariana Grande's performance benefit for the victims of the  horrific bombing at her concert recently. As I lay on my bed, my thoughts flew to the families experiencing loss, and felt loss for them. Hate brews hate. Hate brews war. Leaders who are autocratic and dictatorial, who push the boundaries of fear and division should never be made acceptable by allowing their rule. I feel this strongly. These haters are few , yet they are encouraged by their power and twisted religious beliefs of Isl...

I sit alone with God: A spontaneous heartfelt rant

Disclaimer: Not all reflections are good I walk among criminals. You define these monsters as professionals because they dress and speak a certain way. They are educated ( or so they think) and in most cases are able to assume a role of power and status because of the occupation they call their career. Let’s be real, the face of corruption is just as bad in the corporate world, as the drug lord hiring the pushers to destroy a community’s youth. There is much to dislike in this world . There is so much abundance and yet the level of poverty rises, just like the tides of hate. Who the hell do you think you are? Who are you really when you pay your taxes and bills and everything which is declared as compulsory on your paycheck? Who the hell do you think you are when you go out to work every single day and expect a fair days pay for a fair days work? How dare you live your life anymore with expectations of anything good? Who the hell died and told you that you ca...

Just Thinking Out Loud: The Absent Friend

In this world there will be many people we do not get a chance to meet. We won't be able to become friends or to share experiences because life ended before we met. Last year as I looked around at the many horrors that faced the world an ache came into my heart. Yes, I felt sorry and sad for the families and friends of those persons who passed on to their next life after death. While we are here on this earth, each day is an opportunity to meet someone we did not know before. There are many refugees and immigrants who have no choice but to leave their homes and families to find a place to call home. Some will be successful, and others will die trying. Is it so hard to love the person who needs a place to call home? We are absent when we are not there. This is for all the persons who lost their lives through the crimes faced from terrorism, civil unrest, genocide, famine, hate crimes against humanity. The Absent Friend I love you my friend, I did not s...

Controversial or just Keeping It Real!

Hot topics… It can be difficult to press that publish button sometimes. It’s especially hard for me when the subject matter can generate angry negative feelings. Everyone will never share the same point of view on Religion, Sex , Politics. These are ‘hot topics’ and its like striking a match and watching a combustible response when tempers flare. I’ve been publishing some posts of a political nature and its fascinating to watch and sometimes read the comments. Its absolutely insane the way people hate or love. I’m not sure about what happened to sharing opinions and having some fiery discussions with mutual respect as the bar. Hmmm, yes, it seems people have been ignited to revel in hate and anger. The level of uncaring, and condescending disregard for those suffering or in need, makes me fierce. I want to protect and shield those who are forced into a state of loss and displacement from the anger and hatred coming from some corners of t...

Something new…

Making Lanes… It is hard to write some of the things which are at the forefront of my mind. There is a lot going on which can have Dwordslayer caught up with personal family drama and parenting, medical recovery, marketing and professional business coaching and advice, blogging on world events, and the list goes on. In this mind, the whole thing might look like a pot of stew with lobster, chicken, and a vegetarian delight all mixed together. Thus, I’ve decided to keep the political thoughts on a separate blog. Now I’m not too sure how it will work, but I’m giving it a try. Current events are important, but we must try to never allow our passion to cross into the toxic lane. Let’s figure life out always looking for a way to get on the positive lane, and turning the light switch on in the darkest of days . I’m sure there will be some of you who won’t agree with my thoughts, and that’s okay. Let’s communicate and talk. This is how relationships grow . Here is the link to my se...

RIP… JULY, 2016

Hello world… There is so much going on, in the world, and in my world. Where do I start, and how can I stop feeling an ache, a pain, all the senseless killing hurts. That’s it in a nutshell. I’ve sat at my laptop and wondered what can I say which has not been said. How can I express the thoughts which do not get a moment to finish grieve before I hear another. This time, its the slaying of a priest in France, his throat slit, while he is on his knees – how can I not feel? This is for all the lives lost in the past two months, between USA, Europe, Africa, and many other countries around the world, we are faced with loss. These deaths are not from natural causes, but from hatred and evil. To those who lost their lives and their families. For those who share my feelings at this ongoing war against humanity. For those who love their fellow man, this is a moment to grieve, giving final rites to lives which were here. The absent friend I did not see or know you I’m so sure ou...

WHO ARE “WE…?”

A Humanitarian crisis… Whatever I wanted to say today is on pause. I saw something online via mashable.com and thought maybe its one of those goofy things people film which cannot be real.  The headline screamed.. ” Refugees came to ‘the Jungle ‘ seeking freedom and were evicted with clouds of teargas” http://mashable.com/2016/03/01/the-jungle-evictions-teargas/#sQhYjI8iQ8qS “I don’t want to watch. I cannot read. I cannot see such unkind inhumanity” …then I watch. It is real. The sign says “we are not terrorists”, as held by a refugee – it catches my heart. As I read Alex Thomson’s tweets and watched the video clips, I see the bulldozers coming to move the people. The refugees – children, women, men, the elderly. United in what they were doing- the French, Belgian, British and German mixture of removers, have a mission to move these people and demolish their ‘shacks of life’. In October last year I shared this; “There is a crisis worldwide which cannot and should not ...
