Sharing that not so good review!

Giving the r eviews... What do you do when you want to leave a realistic honest review but know the other side won't take it well?  In the past I would never be afraid about sharing a review which is negative, however we live in a society where less than positive reviews are frowned upon. Everyone's opinion is just that... an opinion. If the experience one had is negative, should that review not be shared?  There is a saying I've developed over the years, "If himself tells himself he is good, then he is good in his vision and his reality is himself!". From political, social, religious, and even personal perceptions, growth can only be exponential if the views and others are considered. It does not mean we must change to suit others, but simply means everyone is not receiving what we think we are giving. The View From My Week Blogging

"Make the best of your opportunities when you see them!" Opportunities are not hidden from us. They are there waiting to be discovered and we just have to be ready to find them. The world sends us adventure disguised as challenges so being intuitive and a risk taker helps. It is a process of awareness 'discovering opportunities' and can be quite rewarding when found! This week D-Wordslayer  continued with two minute daily tips to help focus on an essential part of any business- Customer Service. Getting the tips to be relevant to a wide spectrum of industries and people was interesting. Tapping into my seemingly  limitless box of experiences was the biggest challenge. Nothing went as planned but everything was better than expected. When the unexpected happened  I was not  ready, and not consistent with timeliness. Let's Talk... Communication 2

Did you say what I heard ? We are busy talking, sharing , conversing. As the conversation comes to an end, some one asks a question, and the other responds, “that’s not what I heard you say a while ago!” Misunderstandings happen  during random conversations, and its easily corrected most times. At work, a misunderstanding in communication can be quite costly for all parties! Lets  practice taking notes, key points and recapping . Does this seem tedious and make you uncomfortable? Don’t compromise a great habit with ego. When dealing with customers, colleagues, and other business affiliates, its smart to  get your details correct! Tip Recapping a conversation is a great way to ensure there is a meeting of the minds. It also gives an opportunity to catch key details not previously mentioned, or understood. Enjoy the conversations without misunderstandings, while listening. Seek to become a great communicator, and you will hear what is said! DWordslayer #C...

LET’S TALK…COMMUNICATION 1

Talking is easy. Having a conversation to deliver your message can be harder than you think. Its about communication! On a daily basis we need to communicate. Understand the message to be shared, and let the words, body and technology work harmoniously. Ensure you clearly understand the message, and the person on the receiving end. Look and listen for signals of understanding as message is received. Show interest in feedback given, and offer clarification when necessary. Use your body language, listening skills and any tools necessary to make memorable communication. Keep it simple. *Listening is a skill which requires focus and attention – Give focused attention! Turn the mobile on silent, or off – be respectful of  each other’s time. Sincerity & clarity defines effective communication! Tip Be serious when its needed and use humor when you can.
