I cannot save the world. I've been blogging for some time now, and its been an eye opener for me. Who we really are comes from the things we just don't want to change. I'm sorry, just can't stop trying to help others and myself be inspired to want more. Sometimes I can be a pain in the butt, and  can be brutally honest to others, but moreso to myself. This year has been on of those defining times where who I am and what I say matters to me. What I do is even more important. There are so many things to get off my chest, and maybe, instead of looking for the soft words I need to spill the beans. Hot topics… It can be difficult to press that publish button sometimes. It’s especially hard for me when the subject matter can generate angry negative feelings. Everyone will never share the same point of view on Religion, Sex , Politics. These are ‘hot topics’ and its like striking a match and watching a combustible response when tempers flare. I’ve been publishing some posts of a political nature and its fascinating to watch and sometimes read the comments. Its absolutely insane the way people hate or love. A  Tumultuous Time All that I want is gone for now. Welcome the free world calls… I would like to write about happy experiences.  The things which make me smile. The ocean’s waves, playing with my feet, the bluest sky favoring me with the yellow sunlight. Entrepreneurship, mentoring, sales, business development, marketing are hidden in my cache as my focus is on the present.  We cannot feel for what we have, those emotions are left for what is lost. Life is not a game! Going through my drafts I came upon this . Two verses were used in another article, the words are now all awaiting their turn for sharing. It's the thoughts of a leader injured on the job and an organisation's determination to avoid association with the liability. Everything which is not positive gets hidden in the corporate world if possible. Injuries on the job are not noted when staff are urged not to make police reports, or to keep their jobs- be silent! ISO and OSHA standards are of no value if not enforced. Fear can keep the 'thoughtful strong' quiet and make the weak strong in understanding. No admonishments, just acceptance. A Humanitarian crisis… Whatever I wanted to say today is on pause. I saw something online via mashable.com and thought maybe its one of those goofy things people film which cannot be real.  The headline screamed.. ” Refugees came to ‘the Jungle ‘ seeking freedom and were evicted with clouds of teargas” http://mashable.com/2016/03/01/the-jungle-evictions-teargas/#sQhYjI8iQ8qS “I don’t want to watch. I cannot read. I cannot see such unkind inhumanity” …then I watch. It is real. The sign says “we are not terrorists”, as held by a refugee – it catches my heart. As I read Alex Thomson’s tweets and watched the video clips, I see the bulldozers coming to move the people. The refugees – children, women, men, the elderly. A Just Society "Justice is difficult for those with limited or no resources to fight." (Eversley,2016) In part 1, we saw a war declared, and the battle cry which followed was crushing.  The organization, the institution, the country have the resources and the capacity to crush the employee who dares to fight and not comply.  The Business Dictionary Online  defines 'justice' in the workplace in the following way:- “ Fairness in protection of rights, and punishment of wrongs. I would not describe myself as brave.  I’m afraid of rodents, insects, and cringe when going to the dentist! There is something deep, deep inside my being though which abhors injustice, making it impossible for me to sit quietly. Never choosing to fight for myself, I would march quite boldly to defend another. In defense of others we can be fierce, but it takes that much more in defense of ourselves. There is a movie, I like to refer to when discussing human behavior  – 'Law Abiding Citizen', with Gerard Butler & Jamie Fox. The show revolves around a man’s fight for justice in an unfair system, created by those who are expected to uphold the law. He waits on justice and it was unfair. A plea bargain for testimony against the partner set the real perpetrator free - a man who raped and murdered  the wife and young daughter of a law abiding citizen.
