Putting a value on time .. I’ve never been able to figure weekends out. I love Mondays. In fact give me everyday of the week and I love them. I love the days because there are so many opportunities and things  which are waiting for my discovery! Each day brings something new. For me it may be the same job status, the same car, the same family, the same 24 hours- what makes it different is me. The challenges never change, but my attitude does. I must change to go after my dreams, desires, to fulfill my purpose. I might look the same on the outside, but quite a lot is happening on the inside. I’m dreaming! There is a plan for something more to happen, then it happens unexpectedly and I’m ready! While waiting I’m there seeking out, creating, and finding each day different. Communication & The Customer! The customer can be many things including the reason you’re working daily!  No customer, no work.  That’s as straight as it gets! Customers expect to be served. It is a necessity of getting business – providing a service. How you communicate with your customers will determine the quality of relationships developed. Building trust will increase repeat business and referrals – and that’s an essential for everyone! Trust is earned, so your service has to be authentic! Meeting expectations based on promises is important. Work towards exceeding expectations! Remember to always keep the customer informed. The best advantage is communication! Communication & People We speak to people every day. At home, work , school and in moving from one place to another. We bump into people we know and those we don’t know …yet! That’s the tricky part ‘yet’. You’re communicating with your physical interactions and body language all the time! You never know who you will meet and their impact on your life. Let your light shine! Be courteous ,mannerly, kind, and good tempered. Don’t let a bad temper rain on a good day. The people you meet when you forget your temper at home may turn out to be your next employer or customer! Apps & Social Media – Making communication fast ! Let’s talk about the social media craze, and you. What does it mean to you? Is your communication affected by it? You woke up this morning and the mobile beeps… that’s a WhatsApp,Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, SnapChat, Instagram, YouTube.. and any other app you are connected with expressing an incoming message or notification! It’s there for business, pleasure or simply an update on the app! You cannot avoid the internet,technology, social media and their effect on you.  How you choose to communicate through your choices will determine your effective reach! Focus on the details! Having a conversation and sharing information, can require some level of knowledge. If someone says “the sky looks blue today, but will be gray later on – what do you think?” its a good idea to know about the weather and colors. If the conversation is on current affairs, your business sector and local markets – having some basic knowledge of your industry is great. Information is out there and its available. Don’t try to fudge your way through – be the one everyone wants an opinion from! Focus on the details of life and the world around you and beyond. Did you say what I heard ? We are busy talking, sharing , conversing. As the conversation comes to an end, some one asks a question, and the other responds, “that’s not what I heard you say a while ago!” Misunderstandings happen  during random conversations, and its easily corrected most times. At work, a misunderstanding in communication can be quite costly for all parties! Lets  practice taking notes, key points and recapping . Does this seem tedious and make you uncomfortable? Don’t compromise a great habit with ego. When dealing with customers, colleagues, and other business affiliates, its smart to  get your details correct! Tip Recapping a conversation is a great way to ensure there is a meeting of the minds. It also gives an opportunity to catch key details not previously mentioned, or understood. The Gas Tank must never be low! It’s time to focus on getting the actions done.. let's work! You have your test run ready and you’re about to get the GPS on, and you are short on gas…. Yes, let's start over, by getting in some fuel engaging activity in your car, bus and fill that time on your way to work. Technology is great. Invest in a smartphone – low end, high end, any end is fine , just ensure you can download some Mobile Apps to engage in some positive vibrations. Clearing the thought process…. It takes more than a cup of coffee to keep a clear head. Hopefully you had some sleep and you’re feeling like the million of whatever you dream about! One of the most fun things I can think about at work is drafting that plan to execute. Its like planning to take over a country. Overthrowing the existence of ‘nothing’ and bringing life to barren land! First things first –  What are you expected to achieve this year, quarter, month, week, day. Its great to see expectations in black and white – it helps to keep them real.  What’s this looking at you in the photograph below.. an empty page. Its the page you get to fill – in longhand – especially if you can’t write without smudging – get dirty and lets brainstorm a plan. Writing on writing.... How do I know what to write? There are few times I intend to write. Writing is a reflex action driven by my emotions. When I have intense joy, sadness, anger, and love I feel the words in my head, sometimes my heart, and a powerful desire to pen them. There was never a consideration to become an author, journalist, copywriter or any such career which involved someone reading my words. Somehow, I have been lying to myself; I have always been writing, and expressing on paper, electronic or otherwise, a message. In business, my team and managers quickly realized this ability, and I would prepare drafts, briefs, contracts, sales proposals, and customer / business reviews. Researching and reading is easy for someone who enjoys words. It becomes easier for someone who likes experimenting and welcomes challenges and change. Business expression is life expression.
